"Free Online Video Downloader Plus" ("the extension") does not collect, store, or transmit your browsing history, page content, or downloaded files to any server. There is no analytics SDK and no advertising SDK bundled with the extension. The only data that ever leaves your browser is described below, and only when you choose to unlock unlimited downloads.

What we collect

• An anonymous device identifier — a random ID generated when you install the extension, stored locally in your browser. It's used only to track your free-download count and to remember that this browser install has unlocked unlimited downloads after a purchase. It is not tied to your name, email, or any account.
• Purchase verification — if you choose to unlock unlimited downloads, your device identifier is sent to Creem (our payment processor) as part of checkout, and a purchase-confirmation token is sent back to the extension to unlock it. We do not receive or store your payment card details — those go directly to Creem.

We do not read, log, or transmit anything about the videos or pages you download from.

Third parties we share data with

• Creem — processes the one-time unlock payment as our merchant of record. Receives your anonymous device identifier (to link the purchase to your unlock) and whatever payment/billing details you provide it directly (we never see your card details).

Data retention

Your device identifier and unlock status are stored locally in your browser until you uninstall the extension or clear its storage via chrome://extensions. We don't keep a separate copy of it on our own servers beyond what's needed to process a purchase with Creem.

Why the extension requests these permissions

• downloads — to save the video file you requested to your computer.
• storage — used locally by the extension's internal logic; nothing stored here is transmitted anywhere.
• tabs — to detect which supported video site you're on.
• webRequest / host permissions (<all_urls>) — supported video sites (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, Dailymotion) require reading the page's own video address on the page itself; this also lets the extension fetch the video with your existing logged-in session on that site so it can be downloaded.

我们向哪些第三方共享数据

• Creem——作为我们的支付服务商/商户记录方,处理一次性解锁付款。会接收你的匿名设备标识(用于把这笔购买和你的解锁状态关联起来)以及你直接提供给它的支付/账单信息(我们看不到你的支付卡信息)。

数据保留

你的设备标识和解锁状态存储在本地浏览器,直到你卸载插件或通过 chrome://extensions 清除其存储数据。除了向 Creem 处理购买所必需的部分,我们不会在自己的服务器上单独保留一份副本。

为什么插件需要这些权限

• downloads —— 用于把你请求的视频文件保存到你的电脑。
• storage —— 供插件内部逻辑本地使用,存的内容不会被发送到任何地方。
• tabs —— 用于识别你当前所在的受支持视频网站。
• webRequest / 主机权限(<all_urls>)—— 受支持的视频网站(YouTube、TikTok、Instagram、Facebook、Twitter、Vimeo、Dailymotion)需要在页面本身读取视频地址;同时也需要借助你在该网站已登录的会话来获取视频以完成下载。
